What a week.. 12.05.07
Never has a week seemed soo long. This is just now Wednesday, but so should be friday by as long as it has seemed. Monday the net was down all day at work, so that left any free time in between working to be nothing except walking around this place, hitting up the snack box, or just plain chilling. Speaking of chilling, it’s finally got cold here 
. Not only outside, but I’m sitting here in my office w/ my door shut so that it will warm up some in here.
The bright side I guess is that the week is half way over now. I’m going to help one of my buddies drywall his entire basement, ceiling and walls, over the next few weekends. I’ve done a little bit before, and actually enjoy doing it. I guess thats because I’ve got to where I like to do active work more lately, mostly because you can see things progress as you work on it. That and I’m just kind of tired of the rut that I’m in now. It’s been the same thing for years now.
And the thing that amazes me is how some of my co-workers LOVE their jobs. I mean these guys will come in early, leave later than normal, and just overall be excited while they are here. I always thought that was a bunch of BS that you can actually love your job, but apparently possible. My real thoughts are that I would have been there by now, but some things that I’ve been involved in just hasn’t worked out…yet. I’m just going to hang in there until I find that opportunity for something that I will enjoy. Until then, I guess I’ll still be the black sheep here and see what comes my way.
