Finally I’m going to get to work out of the office again. I’m excited to get some days that I won’t have to stare at this screen all day long. I’ll be out GPSing RailRoad Crossings in three of our neighboring counties. There’s roughly 180 crossings that need to be mapped out so it should last about a week or a little more.
The best part is that I will hopefully get to start it tomorrow
Assuming that the files that I need to make some working maps come through email today sometime.
I’ve been pretty stressed out lately with work. See, I’m working on this project that I was allocated ~450hrs to complete, and it’s something that no one here has done before the way it’s being done. So saying that you should be complete in X amount of hours really isn’t the right way to approach it. But I understand for billing and financial record keeping and such that it had to be done this way. And I really don’t think that I could get any more hours to finish it, but I guess there is a very slim chance that there could be.

I’m sitting here at work now and very much don’t want to be here, and in the background I can hear other ppl laughing and cutting up w/ each other like they have waited all weekend for this day to come. I mean, come on it’s Monday! that means the weekend is over, how can you be excited to be back at work?!
The printer in Office Space = this project I am on now
It’s getting the best of me lately and am so ready for it to be over with.
Starting yesterday, and for the rest of the week I’m working out in the field. It is so nice to get to spend the day outside rather than in front of the computer all day. It’s a nice break on the eyes, and also will earn a little bit of extra dough by doing so. The work car is taken by some co-workers, so if we wanted to go out we had to take our own ride.

After about 6 months of working in the office completely, staring at the computer screen, and listening to the Today’s Big Hits on Yahoo! Music, we’re finally going to be getting to work out in the field for about a week. Planning on breaking it up and only going out when it’s not raining. So we’ll be cruising in the Crown Vic, and stopping at most of the railroad crossings in the North Georgia area.

‘Sort of’ is such a harmless thing to say. Sort of. It’s just a filler. Sort of – it doesn’t really mean anything. But after certain things, ‘sort of’ means everything. Like after ‘I love you’ or ‘You’re going to live’ or ‘It’s a boy.’
