when my arms are wrapped
in a tight embrace with you
I feel my greatest

from this day forward
you will never be alone
it’s us forever

I used to worry
that I would grow old alone
and then I met you

the warmth of your breath
with your arms wrapped around me
warms me to my core

do I cross your mind
the way you seem to cross mine
countless times each day?

there is not a thing
in this world that I want more
than you to be here

she’s more beautiful
with each and every new glance
that I get of her

just you being near
gives me butterflies inside
like a swarm in spring

just watching your lips
dance to the words ‘I love you’
captivates my heart
