We left around 10:30AM with no real trip planned out. My brother really wanted to ride where we’ve never ridden before, and suggested out towards Alabama. We ended up taking 136 by Cloudland Canyon and just continued from there and ended up going through Fort Payne. We had a nice lunch at Shane’s Rib Shack in Rome before heading home. I ran off and left my little camera at work on Friday since I’ve been using it there, so unfortunately have no pictures from this ride. It was a great trip though that lasted over 6 hours and was about 210 miles long.
Motorcycle ride through the mountains to Tellico Plains for Father’s Day.
A few photos from this set
On Father’s Day, my brothers and I all get together with our dad and take a long motorcycle ride together to spend the day w/ him. We got a late start today, left about 1:30PM, but had a very enjoyable trip. The weather could not have been any more perfect. We rode about 250 miles up through Tennessee, over into North Carolina and up into the Nantahala National Forest. The Nantahala is a beautiful place. The trees are so tall and the mountains so large that it almost makes you feel very insignificant to the world. I can only imagine how nice it looks during the winter after a good snow.
Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
