I’ve added a ‘like’ feature to my blog, similar to that of Tumblr and Facebook. I know sometimes while reading posts on other blogs, I want to comment that I liked the post, but don’t always unless I have something to maybe add to the discussion. The ‘like’ feature I think fills the gap, incase I have any readers that ever feel the same. I’m hoping the plugin author adds some extras to it to capture who likes the posts at some point. If not, I may see what I can do with it.
CSS has always been a weak point of mine. I’m more of a visual learner, so looking at just the code doesn’t really get me very far. Pretty often I either tweak or add something to my blog, which in turn requires some CSS to make look right. For example, just a few days ago, I added a background image of a shadow underneath any image that I insert into a post as a medium size image. This would have taken me quite a bit longer, if it weren’t for the Firefox add-on Firebug.
Wordle is a site that makes word clouds from the text on your site and allows you to customize how it all appears. It’s a pretty neat idea IMO and some of the images that it creates are interesting; especially since everyone’s will always be different. I learned about Wordle from Muse.
Anyways, here’s mine!
