Spanky, Before & After Haircut 05.29.09
Little Spanky is now a totally different looking dog. We decided to take and get him groomed because he had gotten so many mats in his hair from biting his itches. The lady that did his grooming said he was a sweetheart and was so easy to work with. When we went to pick him up, I didn’t even recognize the little guy, but he seems to be very much enjoying it and being able to see without his hair in front of his eyes. Such a difference from that little ball of curly fur that he once was! I’m not sure if we are going to just keep him trimmed short from now on, or try to keep it up with regular brushing and baths.

Wow, he does look different! I had been wondering how he was. I’m glad he’s still a sweetheart. Maybe you could let his fur grow just a little?

Muse – He’s been doing great! We may end up letting it grow out and see if we can keep him mat free this time. If not, we might start taking him and getting him groomed and cut every few months
Marsha – Thanks! I think we got him cut at just the right time since it’s starting to get pretty hot out now. A nice cool cut for the summer
