It’s not really too often that I run across a new artist that I like, but when I ran across Satellite sometime last week, I liked what I heard. All of their songs are available for listening on their site, and they generously give one away for free.
On their Facebook page, they write:
There is no substitute for honesty in music. Every once in a while a song speaks to you; reminds you of how you really feel. We truly hope SATELLITE becomes a voice for the joy, heartache, beauty and truth of life.
The second sentence says it all, because some of their songs do exactly this for me. And as usual, there are some very good lyrics in the songs and a nice tune to match as well.
