Out For 5 Days

July 25th, 2008
Tags: , ,

I’m just about all packed up and ready to get out of here in the morning.  I’ve taken Monday-Wednesday off from work next week; not for a vacation (that would be nice btw), but to give my brother a hand again in catching up his work.  We’re going to be spread from Atlanta to Chapel Hill, NC covering about 1100 miles roundtrip between the jobsites and 31 different jobs.  The tasks will be just adding in a few new devices to their current security setups, so they should go rather quickly once we get familiar w/ the setup.

On another note, I’ve been looking at some of the photos I’ve taken here recently, and have decided that it’s about time to upgrade cameras.  I’ve got my mind set on a new Nikon

  1. Hey, your bro is lucky to have you! Sounds like a lot of work and a lot of travel. Should keep it interesting, though. I think your photos are great! But if it’s REALLY time to get a new camera, ;) I wish you luck with that. Have a good road trip, stay safe, and come back and tell us all about it!

  2. I love getting new toys. It’s almost time for me to update my camera and video recorder.

  3. What did you do to get your dream car?
I am a Cannon camera user.

Thanks for reading my blog and taking the time to post, too. I hope you are having a great trip, and have some fun along the way.

  4. Muse - Thanks for that! I really appreciate it! We had a great trip and managed to get everything done so that the whole project could be turned in on time. We broke into a couple of groups, spread out over the states, and hit it hard and got it done. My bro was way more than excited!

Marsha - I do too! New toys are always great! ;)

Rocque - Thank you! My dream car is just from saving my money from working over the past few years and working for my brother on the side. I’m still living at home so that is definitely a huge contributor as well. How do you like the Cannon camera? Our last two have been just an HP and our latest is a Sony. I’ve used a Nikon SLR type at work a few times and loved it. I’d ultimately like to get into taking more pictures and doing some site seeing, so a nicer camera would be great. I’ll be sure to stop by your blog regularly!
