My Latest Afternoon Project

In our house, upstairs we have a 2nd bathroom.  Which actually has always been more of a bathroom-to-be.  It’s always been unfinished for as long as I can remember, just an empty room, no sheetrock or anything.  It would have been nice to have been complete when we were younger, but due to other things and of course work, my parents never had the time to do it.

So that’s where I come in.  This is the latest project of my brother and me.  It’s going to be a full bath, wooden ceiling, shower, toilet, large vanity, walls with the bottom half wood and the top half drywall and paint, and what I think is the best of all, tile floor!

The tile is where we are at this point.  We’ve got all of the backerboard down to lay the tile on and are working on the pattern for the floor as we speak to make sure we get all of it layed out and know what cuts we need to make.  We’re planning on doing an outline around the room and then laying the tile horizontally to give the room an even larger feel.
