It just shows how quickly things can happen while we're not paying attention. I went back and read your posts about your mother. I feel I've gotten to know your family, if just a little bit, through your blog, and my heart goes out to you all. Please know that my thoughts are with you as you seek the best treatment for your mother. I know how scary this kind of thing can be when it happens to our own beloved family members. You wrote so movingly and beautifully about your feelings, showing a strength I knew was there, but was confirmed by your honesty. Your family is lucky to have you, Shane.
