Just Some Updates 02.27.08

Unfortunately I’m back in the office now Field work just doesn’t seem to last long enough.  We managed to GPS close to 200 different track intersections over the last few days.  The only one that we needed to get that we didn’t, was on the interestate at a point that has a narrow shoulder and is at the very end of the on-ramp.  My brother and I both came to the decision that we don’t get paid enough to risk getting nailed trying to collect that one.  The traffic on I-75 is like always 80+, so that one was kind of on the dangerous side.

Our bathroom project is coming along nicely.  We have 90% of the tile layed, and have all of the remaining cuts already made.  Hoping to get them down today Tile makes a dramatic change a room.  I’m trying to talk my parents into us just going ahead and tiling the downstairs bathroom as well.

Monday I’m taking my girl cat to the Vet to get fixed.  She’s a very nice cat, and as much as I like kittens, we just don’t have the room for them and it’s such a hassle to watch for them every time you leave the house or come home.  So we figured we’d just go ahead and get her fixed, because the way cats breed with strays and all that, it only causes more to end up in the shelter in the end.
