How Old Is Your Car In People Years?

by Shane Holden – January 4, 2009

Jalopnik came up with a funny way to check your car’s age in people years.

Take the mileage on the car’s odometer and divide by the model year. The result is your car’s age if it were a person.

I’m not telling! This would make my care quite elderly, LOL :)

Um, oops, I mean my car! Maybe I need “care”.

Muse – Nothing at all wrong with an elderly car ;) It’s amazing how many miles they are able to go nowadays.

I’m fortunate enough to live close to work, so I only have to drive a few miles each day. So by the age formula, my everyday ride is still a teenager, although it’s getting close to 10 actual years old.

Got something to say?! Go for it!
