Field Work

I so forgot how much more I enjoy work when I’m doing field work rather than office.  All week this week we have been outside driving to each railroad crossing in particular counties and GPSing them.  The week goes by so much faster not sitting in the office all day.  Monday and Tuesday were pretty nice outside, but today was very cold.  I think it was in the 20s when then wind chill was factored in.  Not bad for some of you I know but we’re not really all that used to it

I’m taking tomorrow and Friday off to go up to Knoxville, TN to do some work with my brother.  I’m really looking forward to it because it’ll be a nice change from the norm, and I’ll be getting almost doubletime since I’m taking paid leave from work and will be working on my leave
