Eye upgrade 11.01.07

For anyone that knows me well, knows that I wear contacts.  I’ve been wearing them every since 8th grade, when I was finally able to talk my doctor into letting me get them. 

 Well it’s been a long time since then, and I not only miss some of the things you can do w/o them, but am getting tired of them sometimes getting in the way so to speak.  Constantly having to worry about any dust from cutting wood while working, mowing the grass, whatever, because you know that if you get it in your eye and it starts bothering you, that it will for a while until it gets out on it’s own, or you clean it.  Waking up in the morning w/ them dried out in my eyes from sleeping (I have the day and night use ones that are ok to sleep in).  And one of the things from summer, swimming w/o goggles!

So now I am very seriously considering and wanting to have Lasik done.  I’ve added it onto my list of things to do and hopefully will take the dive next year sometime and finally have a bit more freedom.  My doc has already said that I’m a good candidate for it
