Downtown Montgomery 12.13.08
I was in Montgomery to work on a job with my brothers, so while we took a lunch break, we stopped by the State Capitol Building to check it out. The town was completely empty of people other than just a few others taking pictures. This is the first State Capitol Building that I’ve actually walked up to to see in person, so I had no idea that there were so many things around them to see. Now I want to visit those in the other states.
The huge tree in the middle of the Capitol Building is just there for the holidays. We were going to go back when it was dark outside to see the lights, but it was already going to be pretty late by the time we finished the job and made the drive home.

What an incredible collection of photos! I was in Montgomery briefly years ago; I’d forgotten what an amazing city it is. You’ve captured some of the best architecture and history.

Muse – Thank you! I thought Montgomery was amazing as well! I would like to have been able to tour them, but I guess that’s the bad part about being at those sort of places on a weekend. It was still very neat to see nonetheless
