Dad’s New Camaro

Yesterday was the day my dad has been looking forward to for the past 11+ months, because we went to the Chevy dealer to pick up his new Camaro SS.  Now my dad loves all old cars, especially muscle cars, but the Camaro is probably at the top for him.  This is because the first new car he ever bought was a 1969 Camaro SS396, which he still owns to this day.  Now they had a few generations that lacked, in my opinion, but the first and the very last was great.  And I think the new 5th generation taking a lot of the styling cues from the ’69 model and tying in Corvette performance (and a bit of styling from it as well) is going to make it a huge success.  He calls this one the last new car he’ll ever get to buy.  Of course I hope that’s not true, but if it is, it is sure one heck of a last new car.
