Chase and I had been planning on seeing this movie with our buddy Jim, since this type of stuff is what we’re all interested in. We went up to the Rave theater in Chattanooga, my first time going there, and had a great time watching the movie. I must admit though, I had no idea that this [...]
Chase and I took today off to have some fun on what could be one of the last really nice days out before the temps start to drop. We hardly take off, and sometimes it’s nice to just spontaneously do it and do something that you really enjoy to relieve some stress. We loaded up the quads and went up to Windy Gap, and had a blast! The day really couldn’t have been much better for it. Sadly it was only us two since it was a Friday, but fun nonetheless!
Some days you’re the cat, and some days your the rat. This poor little guy was the play toy of KC for a few hours this afternoon. I’m guessing the coolness of Fall has brought the little (big) guy out, and unfortunately for him, there’s a big orange cat that wanted to play with his food before eating. I felt bad for the rat, because that is just torture. But, it is nature too.
I took a few minutes to watch Jimmy Kimmel hosting the 2012 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, and that is the funniest video I’ve seen in the longest time! Humor with truth in it!
I don’t post jokes often, but during our political talk at work, a co-worker told me this and I found it quite funny.
Q: An Irishman, a Portuguese, and a Greek go into a bar and have a round of drinks. Who pays?
A: The German.
Just sitting here thinking about lunch yesterday, how funny it was. My brother and I was eating at Chick-fil-a, on the side next to the playground. The playground door was locked because it had rained earlier, and even with the lack of people sitting outside, that didn’t stop kids from trying to get out. This one little boy and I’m guessing his grandpa walked by to try to go outside, when the little boy noticed that my brother and I are twins. Now you’d think that’d be something that you’d get used to, to where you didn’t blush when you notice that it’s being pointed out. Yet when he proceeded to make sure everyone around us knew, I can only imagine how red I must have actually been. I’m a modest guy, so while I may have felt a little uncomfortable, it was so worth it to see that little guy’s face light up with excitement and the recurring smile I get when I think about the whole thing.
Sonic slushes are good, but the new Sonic CreamSlush Treats are even better, not to mention half price all day last month and this month. There’s so many flavors available, but I just can’t seem to turn my back on the Strawberry.
This very brief encounter with an elderly man at Texas Roadhouse was just what was needed at the time. The funny part is when Chase got back to the table, I was like the funniest thing just happened, and he was like no way, I’ve got something too.
The elderly man’s brief conversation with Chase:
The elderly man as he was walking by our table, told his wife he needed to stop for just a second, to tell me:
You never know where the next miracle is going to come from, the next smile, the next wish come true. But if you believe it’s right around the corner, and you open your heart and mind to the possibility of it, to the certainty of it, you just might get the thing you’re looking for.
