The flooding that the southeast has experienced over the past few days made national headlines. Local schools were closed for a day or so, and I’ve heard about a few roads being washed out around here. But I think all the rain and rising water that we got wasn’t nearly as bad as other places, thankfully. It was crazy to hear that Six Flags in Atlanta was under water though, not to mention so many homes, roads, and buildings.

Amazing the water rose so high, isn’t it? I’ve been to Six Flags, and can’t imagine it being under water, either. Your photos really capture the situation.
Yep, it truly is amazing. It’s hard to imagine really how much water that actually is. Hopefully we won’t be seeing that amount of rainfall in a short period again anytime soon!
