Another long weekend coming up 12.21.07

5:00PM starts the beginning of another 4 day weekend. With this being the second consecutive one, I can honestly say that I could so get used to it. I think that most everyone could as well, except for those diehard “I love my job more than anything” type people. I work with a few of those, so it wouldn’t surprise me at all to hear something to the extent of “I’ll be glad when these holidays are over and things go back to normal.” Well not me for sure. While I’m not too excited about the holidays, I do appreciate the few extra days off from work.

My plans so far are:
Saturday - Planning on getting up early and working on my friend’s basement again. This time we’ll officially start on the drywall and should see some definite progress going on. I have no problem at all in putting between 12-16 hours in on saturday to see what we can get knocked out.

Sunday - No plans at all. If it’s not raining and not too cold, we may get the fourwheelers out and go jump some stuff and stir up some mad dust. Either that or clean up some rides since it’s been wet here and they are all nasty from all the road grime.  Or maybe even go for a motorcycle ride if it’s not too cold.

Monday - Christmas Eve, going to be doing presents and hanging out w/ my family. My oldest bro and SIL are supposed to be back on Sunday so that they will be here for sure on Monday. They always say they’ll be back at a certain time, so we’ll see.

Tuesday - Christmas, dinner w/ the family and having our lost relatives over. So that’ll be interesting as to what goes down. Hoping I survive the awkwardness.
