I like to see people standing up for what they believe in, but, it would be nice if they would educate themselves on what it is that they should really be standing up against first.
Not everyone that is protesting is protesting for the wrong reasons. But seeing what some are there for, and their demands, alot of them are. If the movement was protesting the root of all of the problems in this country, our monetary policy, then it could potentially bring about the change that we need. The movement needs to focus on the end of the Federal Reserve, because the Fed is the facilitator of all things that are starving the middle class, and killing our country. It’s ability to print money out of thin air, allows our leaders to lead us into never-ending wars by pretending that deficits don’t matter. It allows the markets to make investments that it would not otherwise make by forcing artificially low interest rates which lead to bubbles that eventually burst, i.e. housing market. The Fed is the problem, plain and simple.
It’s amazing how getting up 20 minutes earlier than usual can make the work day seem hours longer than it should. Ugh.
I can’t help but see this scenario as a trust issue. If I send you an email, and in your reply, you CC my supervisor, your supervisor, and multiple other people, I actually find that offensive. If I wanted my original message to be sent to those people, I would have done it myself. I see the original contacts as being the only people the message is intended to be for. It’s not that I send anything that shouldn’t be seen by someone else, it’s just that when I’ve been doing my job efficiently for nearly 10 years, I don’t need someone above me to keep tabs on me and hold my hand to make sure that I will continue to do the job I’m paid for.
I’m an extremely patient person with most everything, but the one thing that I have the most difficulty with is trying to walk someone through something on their computer over the phone.

Okay, so the big news of today is that Gadhafi has been killed. Whether this huge gamble that our government has decided to take will pay off or not has yet to be seen, and will take quite some time to see. What’s the gamble? What’s the guarantee that who we install as the new leader of any nation that we decide to stick our nose in and intervene with, doesn’t turn out to be worse than the leader that we kill and replace?
Anyways, back to the title. I’ve seen photos of Gadhafi dead. No one has seen photos of bin Laden dead. Why’s this? Could it be that in a very desperate attempt at pulling up his poll numbers, President Obama thought that “killing” bin Laden would help, and that proof would never really be needed by the people? Could it be, that you can’t take photos of someone that’s recently been claimed killed when they’ve either been dead for years, still alive, or maybe even still not located?
Today Chase and I took a drive through the mountains, hoping to catch some bright fall colors. We went over Fort Mountain down into Ellijay where we grabbed a quick bite to eat at Chick-fil-A there. The weather was beautifully warm and clear and was perfect to ride with the windows down on what will soon become a rarity as the temperatures decline as Fall ushers in Winter. As far as nice Fall colors in the leaves, there just wasn’t hardly any yet. It’s either going to be one of those years where it’s just really late happening and quick, or not enough rain before the changing to be those bright and vibrant colors.
We’ve managed to talk Dad into letting us build a cedar fence on the side of the garage where it’s been needed for years. It turned out so well, that we’re going to build an 80ft long fence up the end of our lot (also the end of the subdivision) to block the view of the carpet plan at the south end, as well as replace the 5ft chain-link fence around the back yard with a new 6ft cedar. It’s going to take a while, but if it turns out as well as this first section has, it’s going to be a huge improvement.
You pile up enough tomorrows, and you’ll find you’ve collected a lot of empty yesterdays.
