After wrestling with trying to get Google Chrome to reinstall for me after a spontaneous MSE notification caused it to close out and be removed from my system, I happen to run across the following:
On September 30th, 2011, an incorrect detection for PWS:Win32/Zbot was identified and as a result, Google Chrome was inadvertently blocked and in some cases removed from customers’ PCs. We have already fixed the issue — we released an updated signature (1.113.672.0) at 9:57 a.m. PDT — but approximately 3,000 customers were impacted. Affected customers should manually update Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) with the latest signatures. To do this, simply launch MSE, go to the update tab and click the Update button, and then reinstall Google Chrome. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused our customers.Microsoft

Some highlights:
With the heat of Summer receding for the crisp air of Fall, the evenings are perfect in North Georgia to spend the remainder of sunlight until dark on the front porch, talking. Talking about everything under the sun—work, news, the day, and most importantly, life. Even with the heat and humidity of Summer, that’s how our evenings were mostly spent, enjoying one another’s company. But as you might guess if you know me well, well all of us for that matter, we’ve not sat and talked on the front porch all Summer, and likely won’t over the Fall either. It’s just something I think we’ve all decided without even talking about it that it’s something that can never have the meaning or importance that it once did, without Mom.
The Tea Party gets alot of attacks from people that don’t understand what the movement stands for, especially from the Left. It’s pretty easy to understand though, those that were sent to Washington from the Tea Party, were sent with the message that the people are sick and tired of all the wasteful spending that is driving up our national debt with these unfathomable yearly deficits. This book is definitely worth reading if you are unsure what the Tea Party is really about, or if you find yourself being one of those people that blindly attack the movement.
As usual, I tuned into the debate last night. I think I laughed more during the debate than on the premier of the new season of Two and a Half Men. Primarily because of the media bias of giving Perry and Romney the most talk time is working against them in the way that they wish it wouldn’t. Unlike the other candidates, who usually stick to informing the people their stances on issues, Perry and Romney used their time to bash one another. I really don’t know which one came out of it it worse shape than entering between the two. And although he’s not my pick, it was nice to see that Fox News decided to let Gary Johnson participate. The fact that he was left out of the last debate is just another attempt of the media choosing our candidate for us. At one point Fox thought they had Ron Paul on the question regarding the border fences, but Paul came out swinging and knocked their attempt to discredit him out of the park.
The fact that it took until yesterday (because I was forced to) for me to use the new Yahoo! Mail speaks volumes about my desire to stay with the old one, but after changing, I love it! It just seems so much faster when loading messages. And the arrows to move to the next message (up or down) just makes my life so much easier, as I always found the previous/next text link to be confusing. They’ve gone a little overboard adding Facebook and Yahoo! Messenger in, at least for myself, but I’m sure others find it extremely useful. Bravo Yahoo!, for taking your email a step forward, and not a step backwards like I had first thought it would be!
A huge thanks to the friendly staff at Ron Paul’s DC Congressional office when we stopped by on our recent trip, and of course to Ron Paul for the amazing job you do for not just your constituents but for every single American across this nation. Our Founders would be so proud to see you defending Liberty and the Constitution with the honesty and integrity that you have for your entire public career! The autographed photo really made my day!
I’m someone that hates lies of all kinds—big lies, small lies, lies through exaggeration, etc. I hate lies as much as I hate being lied to.
But to the lady that we helped out with some money today, so that you could buy some gas and go see your dying mother before she passed away, I sincerely hope you were lying. I hope your mom is in good health, and is not dying. If that is true, and it was a lie, I forgive you. I don’t know your situation, perhaps you were being honest, perhaps not, but I’ll never know. If you were being truthful, I hope you were able to make it to be with her before she leaves to a much better place.
My interest in politics, the Constitution and our great founders have brought me across an HBO series detailing John Adams life and the first 50 years of the United States, simply called John Adams. I’m sure it has it’s share of inaccuracies as most historically based tv shows or movies do, but from what I’ve watched so far, I think it’s an excellent mini-series.
The best index to a person’s character is how he treats people who can’t do him any good, and how he treats people who can’t fight back.
