Admitting When You’re Wrong

by Shane Holden on November 28, 2007

People that cannot and will not admit when they are wrong or out of line.  Someone like that irks me soo much.  If you are 100% sure about something, but end up being wrong, be a man and eat crow w/o going and changing the facts to make yourself not look as wrong as you actually are!  And what’s worse than this, is the same type of person that cannot have a conversation w/o talking to whoever they are talking to like a dog.  ARGH!

Daytona was a blast!

by Shane Holden on November 26, 2007

We got back late on Sunday from Daytona but had a great trip overall.  Lots of nice cars, hot chicks, and the beach, there’s no way a trip that has those three can’t be great!  Will post some pics in a day or so.

Trip coming up!

by Shane Holden on November 21, 2007

Going w/ a few friends down to Daytona Florida for the Turkey Run that they have.  Hundreds and hundreds of cars to check out inside the track down there.  We’re leaving at 1:00PM tomorrow and coming back on Sunday.  If I remember my camera, there will be some pics to follow!

Lost?

by Shane Holden on November 19, 2007

I am, and even moreso after this weekend.  I’ve been feeling this way for a while now, months and months actually, and don’t know why really.  Maybe it’s the rut that I’m in thats the cause of it, or just seeing my friends make life changing decisions that decide the direction of their lives.  That includes weddings, home purchases, and even kids.

It’s Friday, & I’m at HOME!?!

by Shane Holden on November 16, 2007

That’s right, I took the day off from work.  The number one reason was because my bro and I are going to help my dad out today and build some trusses for their new place.  This will give him a couple of extra set of hands and help him get them done alot sooner than w/o help.

Not too bad of a weekend..

by Shane Holden on November 12, 2007

I went down to Albany, GA on friday night and spent the night so that I could work w/ my brother and try to get a job completed.  Albany wasn’t too bad looking of a town.  I had never been there before, but like I said, not too bad.

So great to be out of the office

by Shane Holden on November 7, 2007

Starting yesterday, and for the rest of the week I’m working out in the field.  It is so nice to get to spend the day outside rather than in front of the computer all day.  It’s a nice break on the eyes, and also will earn a little bit of extra dough by doing so.  The work car is taken by some co-workers, so if we wanted to go out we had to take our own ride.

Migraines suck!

by Shane Holden on November 6, 2007

I think I’ve been having migraines for about 4-5 years now.  I’ve read that drinking plenty of water can help ward them off, which I’ve been doing for probably a couple of years now.  I’ve noticed that I haven’t had one in a while up until about a week ago.  I figured it would be a while after it before I’d have another, but

Text Based Games

by Shane Holden on November 5, 2007

At the end of last week, one of my online buddies let me know about this text based truck driving simulation game.  It’s called Trukz and is actually pretty fun.  You select routes and try to haul what is needed into that city to get even more pay.  And the thing that makes this game more realistic, is that you cannot sit in front of the computer
